Our Lab in Niel, Belgium is the most advanced Stem Cell Bank in Europe. It was built in 2009 for the purpose
of storing one million umbilical cord stem cell samples under the highest quality and security conditions. Our
State-of-the-Art technology and the most demanding protocols have allowed us to obtain strict international
certification and accreditation.
In addition, each of our laboratories around the world adheres to our strict criteria making us a highly credible
group of laboratories.
• New and tailor-made processing kit for Cryo-Save called DeNovo 520A for Sepax2.
• Sepax2 equipment with unique software options only for us to allow better processing of very small and
very large samples.
• Dual Storage system: Stem Cells are stored independently in two separate storage tanks for additional
safety.
• Cryo-Save launched the Board of Parents in 2012. This programme gives parents the opportunity to visit
a Cryo-Save lab and learn more about our family Stem Cell Bank.
• We care about families and children. With our Cost Free Donation Program we offer free of charge storage
to families wishing to store their newborn's umbilical cord blood stem cells for a direct family member
diagnosed with a life-threatening disease treatable by stem cells.
