01 What to do in a medical
emergency
• In the case of a medical emergency, immediately call Netcare 911
on 082 911.
• Give them your name and number in case you get disconnected.
• Tell them the nature of the emergency so that the appropriate
level of emergency personnel can be dispatched to you.
• Do not hang up until you have been told it is okay
to do so.
